VG Hair Care Was Born For a Special Reason!

in 2018, CEO Audrey's daughter contracted a bacterial infection that rapidly grew all over her scalp. The doctors didn't have any promising information on how to grow her hair back. While Audrey was on the phone to CEO Danielle, who happens to be a skilled hair specialist, Audrey expressed her concerns about her daughter and Danielle's god-daughter losing her hair. Determined to grow her daughters hair back, the two of them began researching different natural herbs and ingredients that are best known for their hair growth and healing properties to reverse scalp damage.

We both shared a vision to formulate hair care products that focus on healing the problem rather than just hiding it. Since then, we haven't looked back, working together as a Dream Team we build a community to solve people's hair care problems as well as healing and empowering them. Losing your hair, especially at such a young age is a traumatic experience and I knew I wouldn’t allow her to walk this journey on her own, so I decided to take the plunge and cut my own hair as well. I didn’t want this situation to consume her, I wanted her to embrace and own it. By cutting my own hair gave her the confidence and reassurance that we will get through this together, and look damn good doing it! This experience not only helped heal my daughters insecurities, it also opened up the gates for my own spiritual enlightenment.

New Beginnings...

Once the bacterial infection started to eradicate and my daughters health began to incline, the doctor stated that it could take years for my daughters hair to grow back and recover. I began to feel defeated, as we were just encountering one obstacle after another and I knew I couldn’t allow this subjected suffering to continue, so I decided to do something about it.

After extensive research, trial and error I had finally conjured up my daughters miracle “Tropical Spirit Growth Oil”, which grew my daughters hair back within a month of daily use. I was overjoyed with emotions and so happy that I had created a product that actually works. This is when me and my cousin decided to start a hair care business with products that actually work, we saw the beauty in the way we could make people smile and increase their confidence just from using our products.

Spiritual Healing…

In the same year as my daughters illness, I had endured a lot of trauma and began my journey of spiritual awakening. My marriage of six years was falling apart due to infidelity that eventually resulted in a divorce and sadly death. I was enraged with emotions and heartache that words couldn’t even begin to describe. The betrayal from my family and friends was the hardest time for me. I was left alone with no one to trust, three kids, and a broken heart.

From the darkest place of my life, I began my journey of spiritual enlightenment and decided to search within myself and combat my traumas face on. It was that moment in my life that I said to myself enough is enough and I began to express my true self with no filters attached. I decided to face the trauma head-on, become more open and speak my truth.

My aim is to be able to encourage others through my story, and let you know you that no matter how hard life seems, you can and will defeat and conquer the demons life throws at you. I encourage you to trust and believe in yourself, because you can overcome any obstacle in life and look bold and beautiful doing it!
